We are seeking an experienced Freelance Web Developer to help us create and design websites that meet our clients’ needs. The ideal candidate should be proficient in designing & developing appealing and responsive websites, as well as have a good understanding of UX/UI design principles.

Responsibilities

• Optimize email templates for mobile devices, ensure consistency with website design, and ensure compliance with anti-spam regulations
• Work closely with clients to understand their website design requirements and deliver high-quality web designs that meet their specifications
• Ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility of web applications
• Debugging and fixing compatibility issues across a variety of devices and browsers
• Develop visually appealing and effective email marketing templates that align with the client's branding and communication objectives
• Collaborating with designers to create and refine user interfaces
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to showcase website layout, structure, and user experience
• Design and develop website layouts using HTML, CSS, WordPress, Shopify, and other relevant software and content-management systems
• Staying up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and trends

Requirements

• Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
• Experience developing webpages from mockups with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other relevant software
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized
• Strong knowledge of WordPress, Shopify and related content-management systems
• Experienced with mobile-responsive and cross-browser designs
• Minimum 1-2 years experience working as a Web Developer or in a related role with a portfolio showcasing your skills
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles
• Experience with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp and Klaviyo
• Experience working with and/or creating webpage mockups, email templates

Although experience with Node.js, Firebase, GraphQL, and other technologies may be useful, they are not strictly required for this role.
