Harnessing our profound understanding of Biotech, Pharmaceutics, and the power of AI, we conduct a comprehensive screening process, meticulously evaluating and scoring the top hard and soft skills of our Solvers and adding all that information into our database.

As Seekers outline their project requirements, our intelligent system determines the necessary hard and soft skills, then applies a robust Skill-matching algorithm to identify the top Solvers ideally suited for the project. This technique saves time for Solvers by eliminating job application procedures and for Seekers by delivering a concise list of highly qualified experts.

Position Overview:

One of our Seekers (A Canadian Biotech startup) is actively looking for a Biostatistician to help them with some of their projects. This is a short-term contract with the possibility of extension based on funding availability and performance of the Solver. As a remote freelance Biostatistician, the Solver will get to set their own hourly rate and work according to their own weekly schedule to meet all the deliverables of weekly micro-projects predetermined after consulting with the Seeker.

All applicants who apply will be considered for the present position and all other future positions available through Biosover.io. After the initial screening Sovers would not have to apply for projects anymore. Our AI would do that for them.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a series of Biostatistical analyses of the experimental data.
• Effectively help in experimental design and data analysis.
• Maintain effective communication with the team for enhanced cooperation.
• Help to design weeklong micro-projects along with objectives and deliverables.
• Diligently work to achieve all weekly targets within the predetermined time frame.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior freelance or consulting experience is an asset.
• An ideal candidate would be someone doing their Ph.D. or Post-Doctoral studies or working as a Scientist/Biostatistician in a related field with experience in Biostatistical analysis of Protein Biochem or similar data.
• A Master's or Ph.D. degree (or pursuing) in Biostatistics, Data science, or related fields.
• Self-driven and goal-oriented, with the ability to work autonomously.
• Working knowledge of Protein Biochemistry and Biotechnology.

Compensation:

This is a freelance position where the Solver would be paid on a weekly basis, based on the hourly rate set by the Solver for the pre-determined number of hours they work on the project.
