What You'll Do:

As part of the general warehouse personnel, the primary responsibilities will be to pick and fulfill customer orders, unload containers and load trucks. Position requires you to work quickly and accurately but always in a safe manner and in compliance with all company policies. May be assigned anywhere in the warehouse to perform duties required from time to time. This position pays $25/hr.

• Unload containers and trucks as necessary. Build proper and safe pallets for put away
• Clears production area by securing and moving finished pallets; moving empty pallets
• Responsible for putting stock away and bringing stock down. Assist with maintaining lot control
• Documents actions by logging movements of supplies, materials and finished goods
• Pick and fulfill customer orders according to pick sheet directions
• Maintain clean and safe working environment
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device
• Work with crews that empty containers and responsible for the training of same
• Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance; and alerts managements to need fork lift repairs
• Responsible for the counting and verifying of all inbound freight

Bring It!

• Has certification to operate Order Picker, Swing Reach, Counterbalance, Reach
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a Retail Distribution Warehouse
• Must be able to use a computer with Oracle, telnet, Purolator, FedEx, UPS software, and have RF gun knowledge
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment; ability to prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently
• Candidate must have High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
