We are actively seeking a Foreman – Machinery and Lifting to perform repairs using available personnel under his authority. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director – Maintenance, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining heavy machinery equipment in good working order to avoid any unplanned machine downtime.

YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES:

• Supervise department personnel by performing VSCs;
• Conduct pre-purchase inspections of new equipment for the purchasing department;
• Participate in the replacement parts purchasing process;
• Carry out the necessary modifications on equipment, according to the specifications issued by the in-house clients;
• Participate and support the activities of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.
• Receive and plan the execution of work orders sent by in-house clients;
• Supervise and plan the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment;
• Estimate and evaluate the cost of repairs to be performed;

Our Ideal Colleague Has

• Languages: advanced level in French and intermediate level in English, oral and written.
• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in construction equipment mechanics or other relevant training;
• Experience in the field of mechanics and management;
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in mechanics and five (5) in personnel management;
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and PM-SAP and INTERAL software;
