Job Overview: Floor Manager
The Floor Manager will be creative in both the business sense and the artistic sense with the primary focus of providing excellent customer service assisting customers, the ability to maintain a large rental inventory during our busy season and to be a team player. In order to meet the needs of our clients, this person must be well informed in costume history in theatre and film and television - must have knowledge to research costume trends, to participate in client meetings and private rental bookings, and experience with POS terminals and Quickbooks is an asset.
Duties:
-Manage the overall sales function of the store and rental inventory. Responsible for keeping purchases within budget using past history, reporting of sales trends, pricing and maintaining of rental stock.
-Responsible to know our pricing for rental stock, completion for customer files details, inventory lists, writing up of the rental agreements, special orders, upkeep and supervision of support staff.
-Set and achieve weekly and monthly sales goals
-Generate new business developing new leads with the theatre, film and television and corporate organizations.
Other duties include: completion of rental price list updates, permanently labelling and organizing storage racks, taking and recording inventory of rental stock, pull and assemble costumes individually or in bulk, input of details to computer.
