THE POSITION:
Keyera is currently seeking a Facilities Superintendent to join our Drayton Valley operations team. This exciting role is accountable for the day-to-day operations of our Cynthia, Zeta Creek and Pembina North facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support and direct the development of work processes to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Work closely with the Area Manager in setting annual and long-term goals.
• Lead the site health, safety, and environment programs.
• Manage priorities to achieve site and corporate objectives.
• Mentor and development of personnel and management for site staff.
• Work within Asset Team to develop, evaluate and implement business development initiatives.
• Liaise with customers/facility partners, regulators, industry associations and other stakeholders.
• Review and planning for critical infrastructure and OPEX projects.
• Responsible for facility OEMS.
• Support site objectives and performance targets in support of business unit strategies.
• Oversee all operations and maintenance functions related to the various facilities.
• Manage operating costs and lead development of the annual facility budget.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to build genuine relationships and communicate effectively with wide range of people at all levels of the organization.
• Minimum 15+ years’ experience in facility operation, maintenance, and/or construction.
• Good understanding of the Keyera business model and the needs of our customers.
• Interprovincial Steam Ticket – 3rd Class Preferred.
• Creativity in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direction.
• Ability to take initiative, exercise sound judgment, influence decision making and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage service providers.
• Working knowledge of applicable regulations and standards.
• Strong organization, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
