The Learning Lab is the innovation arm of EY Learning Services and our teams work collaboratively to create superior learning solutions for our clients. We are looking for smart, ambitious game changers that can help us achieve our vision. We want you to grow with us, be our next thought leader, jump right in and make a difference - and have a ton of fun doing it. We’re looking for a talented and collaborative Digital Media Designer who loves working with and learning from a multidisciplinary team while creating exceptional learning experiences.


Your Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop video animations and graphics with an understanding of timing and storytelling.
  • Builds and maintains a repository of graphics, illustrations, videos, sound and other multimedia for content use.
  • Liaises with creative team and project stakeholders to meet design objectives, discuss effective creative direction, and ensure brand consistency and high standards of creative execution.
  • Assist in designing new interactions and templates.
  • Create digital graphics to enhance the online learning experience using graphic design applications (i.e., Adobe Creative Suite) to develop visually appealing and engaging solutions.
  • Responsible for managing revisions to artwork and accuracy of information.


Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
  • Experience using Adobe After Effects to combine on-screen text, images, and vector graphics timed with narrator audio and music
  • ELearning authoring tools, with proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise.
  • Photoshop
  • Web Development (HTML5, CSS / SCSS, JavaScript).
  • At least 2-3 years experience in digital media design for learning objects
  • Ability to coordinate and handle multiple competing priorities.
  • Designing for diversity and inclusion, and accessibilities.
  • Ability to work in the Adobe CC suite, with strong experience with:
  • Understanding and knowledge of UI / UX design for digital learning experience
  • Possesses an excellent visual sense of composition.
  • Experience in wireframing, rapid prototyping, and visual communications.
  • Excellent graphic design for use in web-based, interactive learning experiences.
  • Illustrator
  • Impressive design portfolio with a proven track record in designing for the web.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, working in a highly collaborative style with stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking, judgment, organizational, time management and prioritization skills.


Ideally, you’ll also have


  • Ability to create wireframes and mood boards.
  • Ability to understand designer and programmer workflows in learning development area
  • Ability to follow current market trends and design industry standards
  • Flexibility in and comfortability with learning and applying new software and work processes.
  • Core design skills include the ability to establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and colour theory.
  • Ability to clearly articulate design decisions, suggestions, feedback, and manage timelines.
  • Ability to come up with gamification ideas for learners.
  • Experience working in a virtual environment.
  • Creating and editing materials in French.
