Who You Are:


The Extraction Technician will be incredibly organized, confident, great at working with their hands and experienced in a laboratory environment, taking on multiple tasks related to cannabis extraction.


You are great at:


  • Sampling and testing
  • Hydrocarbon (BHO) extraction & post-processing
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Filtering compounds with a variety of techniques
  • Formulating extract blends
  • Cartridge filling and various forms of packaging
  • Rotary evaporation and solvent recovery
  • General equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Adhere to all safety and processing procedures, closely following SOP’s
  • Knowledge of winterization, purification and distillation processes considered an asset
  • Inventory tracking


You have:


  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Post secondary education, preferably in chemistry, biology, engineering or similar
  • Experience with analytic labs and testing processes
  • Experience working in a GMP or GPP environment
  • Any experience working in a skilled trade considered an asset
  • Experience working with high-pressured systems
  • Experience with cannabis extraction using butane/propane
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Ample Organics, and ERP systems
  • Experience with cannabis distillation
  • Experience with cannabis extraction using CO2 & ethanol considered an asset
