Job Description

Requirements


Provide attentive, high-quality care for children in our center, ensuring their safety and well-being always.


Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.


Create a warm and nurturing environment that fosters learning, creativity, and exploration.


Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively to provide updates on their childs progress and address any concerns.


Maintain a clean and organized environment, including sanitizing toys, equipment, and surfaces regularly.


Adhere to all licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and company policies.


Qualifications:


Previous experience working in a child care setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of child development and best practices.


Passion for working with children, showing patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.


Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.


Knowledge of age-appropriate activities, curriculum planning, and behavior management techniques.


Familiarity with licensing regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant environment.


Relevant certifications, such as CPR and First Aid, Self-harm awareness, Suicide prevention diversity/cross cultural training, restrictive procedures, non-violent crisis intervention, aboriginal awareness, medication administrations are highly desirable.


Training is provided if the following are not obtained qualifications:


  • Restrictive procedures

  • Aboriginal awareness
