We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team of environmental and regulatory specialists in our Mine Water and Environment group. The position can be located in one of our hub offices of Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton depending on your professional aspirations.
A day in the life:

• Preparing and editing technical assessments and reports to deliver regulatory approval applications for the mining industry
• Supporting multidisciplinary engineering and science teams to plan the work needed to undertake social and environmental assessment of proposed mining projects
• Working with our project leadership team and our clients to understand their project aspirations and to help them to obtain the regulatory approvals required to realize those aspirations.
• Supporting the integration of sustainable solutions across various projects by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate information across work platforms and products
• Assisting on multidisciplinary projects with data analysis and reporting

We'd love to hear from you if you have ...

• An undergraduate degree in a related field such as science, engineering, or a related field , (graduate degree preferred).
• Eligibility for professional registration with one of the professions regulated under the Professional Governance Act would be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills written and verbal
• At least 3 years of professional experience (early career roles), at least some of which deals with environmental assessments, permitting, and/or compliance. We also want to hear from you if you have more experience and the level and salary would be commensurate with your experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive as required
• Aptitude for understanding the integration of different subject matters across engineering and scientific disciplines
