Essential Functions:


Wiser Solutions began in 2013 with the idea that better data should lead to better decisions. Our mission is to capture the data that our brand and retailer customers cannot get themselves, to analyze and present insight to these customers in near-real time, and to integrate into the daily workflow of these customers to drive decisions that increase revenue, reduce costs, and give them the edge over their competition.


We are a growing business and a mission-critical part of our customers’ businesses. We are looking for an Enterprise Systems manager to join us and help manage our IT systems and services. This person will help us develop a support desk for our IT requirements which would include building a team of IT support staff. We are looking for someone with the passion to own and maintain our critical IT infrastructure.


Responsibilities:


  • Recruit, train and grow a global team of IT support staff
  • Explore cost saving opportunities
  • Establish customer service standards and improve customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to enhance security posture
  • Setup internal IT helpdesk
  • Monitor ticket volumes and performance metrics
  • Manage and maintain our global assets
  • Remotely manage our office infrastructure
  • Plan and execute IT projects (tool migrations, acquisition integrations, etc.)
  • Negotiate with vendors to acquire IT systems and services
  • Build and implement policies for asset allocation
  • Administrate SaaS tools such as Office 365


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Experience leading and managing IT support desk
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and in teams (local and distributed)
  • Proven ability to learn quickly, make pragmatic decisions, and adapt to changing business needs
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, show initiative, and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Managing hosted Data center services
  • 10+ years of professional IT systems and operations experience with at least 4 years as a manager
  • Enjoy having fun at work, and desire to collaborate with smart, humble people every day.
  • Prior experience in hiring and recruiting high quality IT staff
  • Must be able to provide off-hours support as needed for emergency situations
  • Strong work ethic and proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to coach the team on good practices 
  • Track record of lifting and challenging teammates to higher levels of achievement

  • Hiring top-quality professionals onto the team as-needed
  • Setting goals, gathering feedback, and delivering performance reviews as part of Wiser’s career management process
  • Directly managing a distributed team of 4-6 people
