The Enrolment Services Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting and coordinating the department's main responsibilities at Niagara College Toronto. This position provides assistance to the Enrolment Service Manager in the process of enrolment for new students. The Enrolment Services Assistant Manager will provide exceptional customer service to students and agents, supervise the Enrolment Services team, and collaborate with academic advisors, faculty, and other departments to ensure a seamless transition for new students.


Duties include:


  • Generate reports, analyze the data and deliver numbers based on reports and inputted data.
  • Assist in evaluating employee performance and identifying hiring and training needs.
  • Communicate with students regarding missing documents according to departmental timelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Foster an environment of cooperation and teamwork among Enrolment Services.
  • Monitor documents uploaded to the student portal and agent portal, daily.
  • Assist the manager in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy and ensuring that all required documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Assists manage the workload of the Enrolment Services daily by coordinating operations.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure a smooth enrollment experience and a seamless transition for new students
  • Support the Enrolment Services team to ensure their workload is completed on time.
  • Track the progress of expected students every intake.
  • Involved with the onboarding and training of new Enrolment Services team members.


Position Requirements:


  • Minimum of 2 years of front-line customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of higher education admissions processes and regulations
  • Supervisory experience is preferred
  • A post-secondary diploma in business or a related background is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
