The PEI Education Department in Canada is delivering Canadian G10 and G11 curriculum to a provincial key public school in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, China.
Teaching Position: English as an Additional Language curriculum, G10and G11 English and Canadian Studies (EAL701A, EAL701B, EAL701C, EAL701D, ENG421A, CAS401A, CEO401A).
Organization type: Sino-Canadian High School Program
Contract Term: Sept 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 (renewable)
Work Location: China
Qualifications:
* With a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree
* Must hold a valid Canadian high school teaching certificate
* Eligible for a Chinese work permit (clean criminal record)
Salary and Benefits:

Job details:
* Homeroom teacher will work with students in Grade 10 and Grade 11 using approved Canadian (PEI) curriculum.
Work load:
*15 to 30 teaching hours + 3 extra curriculum hours per week (5 days per week)
(Three extra hours is used to perform administrative duties, the administrative duties are as follows:
(1)Be in charge of the written test and interview of the recruitment process, including the preparation of test paper and interview questions and the establishment of scoring standards, as well as making recruitment policies.
(2)To test Sino-Canadian students at least once per month, and provide the test scores to the school and SLARK.
(3)To help the lower students to improve their English and make relevant policies.
(4)To provide the lesson plan to the school and SLARK every month.
(5)To assist with the school to complete some other necessary work except for teaching, such as making some relevant policies. )
