• Cowichan Valley - Easy access to Victoria and Nanaimo. This region boasts award winning wineries, thriving farmlands and year round markets.
• Salt Spring Island - A laid back, close-knit community flourishing with artisans and spectacular ocean scenery.

Nuu-chah-nulth Territory

• Port Alberni - A prized fishing and water sports destination in the heard of the island. Port Alberni is the gateway to Tofino, a world-recognized destination.
• Tofino - A world-recognized destination for surfing and a storm watching hot spot. Famous for old growth rain forests and long stretches of pristine beaches.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR-C).
• Successful completion of Year 2 of the Collaboration for Academic Education in Nursing Program in BC or equivalent nursing program from another jurisdiction* and continued enrolment in a recognized nursing education program.
• Equivalency to be determined with nursing education program in the jurisdiction where the student is registered.
• Eligible for Employed Student Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
