The team you'll be part of

Network Infrastructure

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

Our DevOps Team is looking for passionate software engineers to develop best-in-class tools to increase the team's productivity and discover ways to deliver a high-quality product. Come help build our environments, tools and processes for our R&D community.

Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer science, Systems Design, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or related field with an accredited school in Canada.

What You Will Learn And Contribute To

As part of our team, you will:

• Learn about systems and networking.
• Learn about DevOps practices and processes.
• Have a great team of mentors
• Learn new technologies
• Learn to automate as much as possible, so you can work on other great things...until you automate that.

What Is Nokia Looking For From Me

You have:

• Networking experience is helpful
• Experience with a scripting language, ideally python or perl, is preferred
• Knowledge of linux is an asset
• Knowledge of web development and/or databases is desirable
