About The Opportunity
The successful candidate will join a highly skilled "WR Studio and VxWorks RTOS" development team delivering products, with a focus on VxWorks OS certified software for use in mission critical avionics applications.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high quality documentation used for DO-178 certification evidence.
  • Take part in development of new features for hypervisor and RTOS.
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development process using agile development.
  • Review DO-178 artifacts and provide guidance to conform Certification standards.
  • Develop and deliver high quality design and code.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported during product verification and customer integration.
Qualifications/Skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with iterative and agile/scrum software development processes.
  • Experience with RTOS software development a plus.
  • Exceptional team player who works well in collaborative environments.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Self-managed, fast learner with the desire and ability to master new technologies.
  • Certification experience in aviation or automotive industry is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of relevant technical experience in software development.
  • BSc / MSc degree (Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree).
  • Strong analytical skills in the C programming language.
  • Excellent programming skills using Python and Linux shells scripts.
