Director Technical Presales Jobs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain direct senior level relationships (key influencers and decision makers) within Americas accounts, facilitating relationships between customer and Rakuten
• Develop client specific value propositions, solutioning, client engagement plans and associated business case
• Developing technical presentations, technical bids, and solutioning for client specific requirements
• Respond to RFI / RFP / RFQ for customers through effective stakeholder management (internal and external), solutioning, proposal building, and closing of opportunities
• Accountable for prospecting, qualifying, proposing and closing the opportunities

• Experience in supporting Sales and technical professionals.
• Ability to leverage business knowledge, sound judgement, and resourcefulness to determine appropriate course of action in challenging, ambiguous situations.
• Collaboratively and objectively assesses benefits, costs, and viability of proposed solution options and drives alignment across a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Proven track record in engaging and managing mobile clients in diverse profiles (large-multinational, small-local), as well as industry/vertical specific solutions.
• BS/BA degree – technical field preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to engage with and present ideas to senior leadership of and customers. Provides key input to facilitate decision-making process.
• Detailed technical understanding of mobile network infrastructure, mobile network evolution, and mobile technology stack, including knowledge in 5G, 4G/LTE, VoLTE, IMS, RAN, Open-RAN, EPC, VNF, SDN, Security, Virtualization (VM and Containers), Optical/transport, OSS/BSS, DC/Cloud, and private networks.
• Passion for innovation and drive for excellence
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mobile telecom pre-sales, architecture or systems engineering

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecom related field

MS degrees in above fields is a plus.
