Our client, in the food franchise industry, is looking for a Director of IT Infrastructure to join their team in on full-time basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Director of IT Infrastructure will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity principles, as well as experience leading a team of IT professionals.

As Director of IT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the following.

• Manage and develop a team of support and administrative resources: head offices support, IT administrative resources, network, and corporate cyber security
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the organization's IT systems are resilient to disruptions and can quickly recover from any potential downtime.
• Work closely with other departments to identify and prioritize infrastructure needs and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Negotiate and maintain relationships with various MSPs and vendors to secure infrastructure projects and associated efforts
• Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work, and other documentation for Infrastructure projects and associated efforts
• Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all IT infrastructure and operations
• Manage security and infrastructure projects with the assistance of Project Management
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues, including managing vendor relationships as needed.
• Define hardware standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, including forecasting and cost-benefit analysis for new investments.
• Maintain IT support systems internally and externally as well as reviewing SLA’s and vendor suitability annually.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity best practices.
• Manage Azure Cloud Platform
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware, software, and related infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, security, wireless.
• Implement an IT Asset Management system
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and provide recommendations for improving the organization's IT infrastructure and cybersecurity posture.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of successful leadership within an infrastructure team
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong technical knowledge of cloud computing technology, including experience with migration, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT management
• Bilingualism is an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative laws environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
• Experience managing an IT Budget
• Proven experience managing a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Experience developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity best practices.
