Digital Technical Writer Jobs

Looking for a TECHNICAL WRITER for a part-time contract assignment - 20 hours week to start NOTE: this could increase to 40 hours per week in the fall.

This resource is needed on a high profile Banking project and MUST HAVE:

• HTML and CSS (one or both highly desired)
• IN-DEPTH TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION SKILLS.
• A solid portfolio that they will be able to share with the client to show-case their work
• Any experience in digital product tech documentation/user guidelines is a huge plus
• Experience working with developers/UI development team
• The ability to suggest creative content.
• Experience in the banking/finance industry
• Ability to ask the right questions and understand technical terms
• Excellent COMMUNICATION SKILLS !!!!

Responsibilities

• Work closely with your colleagues, including product management, development, UI/UX, to define and measure success. You will be responsible for ensuring the resulting content meets requirements and is ready for publication.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base for our associates and clients.
• Research, write, edit, and improve the content within multiple help centers. You will work on help articles, release notes, and known issue reports for multiple digital products.
• Participate in and present at cross-team critiques and brainstorming sessions to give and receive feedback.
• Ensure a consistent voice and tone are used across the product development document.
• Make Open Banking language easy for clients and stakeholders to understand.
• Organizing materials and content library to deliver an exceptional customer experience and encourage self-service.
• Communicate new or updated features and known issues to a variety of stakeholders (clients and support agents)
• Provide vision and direction to the technology documentation, while demonstrating a passion for digital product and customer experience; specifically, B2B integration, development, and innovation

Qualifications
Experience:

• Experience working with HTML and CSS
• Adept at simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Skilled at prioritizing work and managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
• 5+ years of professional technical writing, content strategy, editorial, or copywriting experience for digital products
