Melo LLP, a reputable mid-market accounting firm with a strong presence in Kingsville, Leamington, Windsor, Sarnia, Wyoming, Strathroy, and Forest is actively in search of an experienced Manager of Digital Content. The ideal individual must be available to sit in our Kingsville or Windsor office. This enticing career prospect offers the opportunity to oversee a dynamic team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining a range or social/digital content to support the Firm's objectives and desired identity
• Manage and/or create high quality, sharable content across all platforms (social, web) to raise brand awareness, and enhance brand eminence
• Oversee and mentor existing content production team members
• Develop a digital content strategy that encompasses the goals for the Firm and aligns with the Firm's desired image
• Monitor web and social content effectiveness
• Grow social media presence and drive web traffic
• Use target keywords to write search-engine copy that is optimized for search engines (SEO) while remaining entertaining and informative
• Stay abreast of current best practices and drive creative content across all digital platforms
Skills and Experience:
• Post Secondary degree in English, marketing, communication, or journalism
• Four or more years of experience in a similar role, at the Manager level
• Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports the Firms' brand identity
• Proven track record of creating effective content and driving social media/digital engagement
• Expertise with using SEO best practices to write creative copy that included effective keyword placement
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Extremely computer literate • Advanced written communication skills
• Strong experience with social media engagement strategies and best practices
• Advanced abilities in creating original content that targets a specific audience, and meets the Firm's objectives
• Technical knowledge of MS Office and WordPress/Website management software
