Job Description

This position is to assist the Desktop Support team with the Roll out to Windows 10 and the increase workload. This position will require the person to work onsite

Education:

  • Post-Secondary education in Computer Science or related field in progress or completed;

Job Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Possesses excellent customer services skills in person & on the phone
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and coordination skills

Key responsibility

  • Configure computers and applications so as to align with Corporate Policies, user requirements and defined functional specifications.
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes
  • Investigate, diagnose and resolve incidents with co-workers & customers.
  • Update the call track system in accordance with G.I.S. processes. Monitor and communicate progress of incidents and escalate if necessary
  • Provides input in the development/amendment of standard operating procedures
  • Proficient in use of office automation tools including: Office 365 , Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
