This position is to assist the Desktop Support team with the Roll out to Windows 10 and the increase workload. This position will require the person to work onsite
Education:
- Post-Secondary education in Computer Science or related field in progress or completed;
Job Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Possesses excellent customer services skills in person & on the phone
- Demonstrated strong organizational and coordination skills
Key responsibility
- Configure computers and applications so as to align with Corporate Policies, user requirements and defined functional specifications.
- All other duties as assigned
- Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve incidents with co-workers & customers.
- Update the call track system in accordance with G.I.S. processes. Monitor and communicate progress of incidents and escalate if necessary
- Provides input in the development/amendment of standard operating procedures
- Proficient in use of office automation tools including: Office 365 , Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
