Job Description

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Data Scientist to help our client in the development, testing, and iterating on prototypes of new technology solutions. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, and technical resources to create functional prototypes that demonstrate the feasibility and potential of new concepts.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop prototypes that meet those requirements
  • Document the prototyping process and provide clear instructions and specifications for handoff to development teams
  • Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to generate new concepts and ideas for technology solutions, including those leveraging machine learning and AI
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, including machine learning and AI, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Use your expertise in software development, hardware engineering, or other relevant fields to create functional prototypes that showcase new technology solutions, including those leveraging machine learning and AI
  • Test and iterate on prototypes to refine them and ensure they meet project goals and user needs


Requirements:


  • Expertise in software development, hardware engineering, or another relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in prototyping technology solutions, with a proven track record of developing successful prototypes, including those leveraging machine learning and AI
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
