Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
• Establish strategic relationships with new customers
• Anticipate the needs of clients and address them accordingly
• Follow up on customer orders as necessary
• Acquire and close new business.
• Identify and respond to client needs
• Keep a high level of knowledge about existing products and services, and learn about new products and services as they come
• Strive to improve customer satisfaction through excellent customer service
• Meet with customers to determine their specific needs and wants, making appropriate suggestions.

Candidate Profile

Education

• College or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent preferred

Specific Qualifications/ Knowledge / Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of industry standards
• 5+ years of experience in the industry
• Strong Rolodex of relevant key decision makers to acquire new business and new client.
• Fluent in English spoken and written; French is a strong asset
• 5+ years of experience in sales
• Undeniable experience in the Data Centres, telecommunications, Data Comm , or IT is almost necessary to be successful in this role;

Soft & Interpersonal Skills

• Strong knowledge of industry standards
• Confident and charismatic approach to people
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Familiar with word processing and spreadsheet

Logistics & Work requirements

• The primary regional territory is Ontario
• Road Warrior! Travel up to 75% may be required.
• Be able to commute, travel, meet clients on a needed basis
• Ability to work in Canada without restrictions
• Be located within Ontario or the willingness to relocate
