The Role


As Senior Project Manager, you will be leading various types of large IT Security related projects including the following: Security Tools Development, Security Tools Transition, Security Tools Delivery, Security Governance and Compliance, OS Patching, IT Security Infrastructure, Cybersecurity vulnerabilities identification and remediation.


You will use your technical expertise to plan and drive aggressive project schedules to maximize efficiencies and meet internal and external stakeholder’s expectations. You will identify and manage project schedules, financials, risks, issues, and communications plans to ensure all key stakeholders are timely informed throughout the project lifecycle, including executive driven in-progress reviews (IPRs). Working with various levels of management and technical leaders, you will define and manage project scope, identify potential opportunities for additional solutions, recommend productivity and efficiency improvements. You will work with internal project teams and external clients to oversee OS patching and vulnerability management of both infrastructure and client devices to meet critical deadlines for audits.


Using a combination of strong project management skills and security knowledge, the senior project manager will follow an agile methodology to lead projects to successful completion, within specified time, budget, and technical requirements.


Who You Are


  • Requires problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • PC literacy, including desktop application competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, Project, Chrome, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of work experience in IT/Cybersecurity related field; PMI or other relevant certifications.
  • Able to work on multiple focus points simultaneously and interact with different team members.
  • Excellent technical and/or analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of project management concepts and methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of information security concepts.
  • Agile experience.
  • Excellent business knowledge and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Work well in a team environment and use a collaborative approach to working with others
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards and procedures.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
