Job Description

About the Job


We are currently looking for a talented individual who will join our team as a Custom Clothing specialist and who will become a business partner in one of our house brands we manage in Canada. Previous fashion retail experience is preferred but is not required as we will provide full technical and sales training to a successful candidate. This position is remote and you will working at your own pace and hours striving to achieve the business goals.

The company has been an integral part of success of many retailers worldwide by helping them to achieve their business targets. As part of the practice, the firm is managing its own fashion brand of tailored clothing which has been on the market since 2004/


Responsibilities


As a Custom Clothier your day-to-day tasks will be oriented primarily around:

  • Maintaining customer contacts
  • Manage and update CRM database
  • Actively developing the new clients and selling the tailored clothing, and accessories
  • Maintaining fitting, alteration and pattern adjustment records
  • Marketing the brand, and its product at social events
  • Providing the liaison between back office and production partners
  • Organizing and maintaining the inventory of fabrics and trim


Qualifications


  • A meticulous attention to details and accuracy in keeping records
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible attitude
  • Retail sales experience with tailored clothing is preferred but not required
  • Great fashion sense and ability to convey the trends and style ideas to clients
  • A proactive and service-oriented attitude
  • Commercial awareness and being driven to reach targets
  • Affinity with fashion industry is an asset
  • Experience or ability to build and maintain a loyal network of clients
  • Ability to work independently and set your own time schedule and appointments
