Position Summary


  • Reporting to the Director Patient Experience, Quality, Risk, Privacy and IPAC the ConnectMyHealth Specialist will collaboratively develop and implement a project plan including deliverables, timelines and budget. The overarching goal for this project is to increase the number of patients who register and use the provincial ConnectMyHealth patient portal. This will be achieved through direct patient promotion and promotion to/through health care providers
  • ConnectMyHealth Specialist will implement the project plan which could include presentations and/or information booths to promote the patient portal, assisting with set ups, regular reporting of project milestones, altering project plan based on feedback throughout, identification of risks to achieving deliverables and as needed, development of mitigation strategies to address risks.


Qualifications


  • Ability to maintain privacy
  • Skills listed below are all required at an excellent to expert level
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Undergraduate degree or a diploma in a health-related field in-progress is required
  • Experience in various health care settings including acute care is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) and competence with social media applications required.
  • Ability to attend work in various locations (e.g., CND OHT partner spaces, community venues, Cambridge Memorial Hospital, etc.).
  • Experience developing and implementing a project plan is required
  • Sound judgement skills
  • Ability to work equally and effectively both independently and collaboratively is required.
  • Designation as a Regulated Health Professional and a member in good standing of a health profession or college, is preferred.
  • Customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret project data including ability to visually present the data is an asset.
  • Ability to effectively adapt and present information for a variety of audiences is required.
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree or a diploma in a health-related field is an asset
  • Ability to easily establish trust
