On-the-job technical training is offered to help build on your existing experience. If you are an experienced Biocompatibility Specialist with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and biocompatibility testing, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conducting biocompatibility assessments, including in vitro and in vivo testing, to evaluate the safety and efficacy of medical devices.

  • Maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to biocompatibility testing.
  • Developing and implementing biocompatibility testing strategies and protocols for medical devices.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, and Regulatory, to ensure successful implementation of biocompatibility testing programs.
  • Analyzing test results and preparing technical reports documenting findings and conclusions (such as Biological Safety Evaluation Reports).
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of biocompatibility testing programs.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external testing laboratories, vendors, and independent experts.

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in biocompatibility testing within the medical device industry.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in data analysis and technical report writing.
  • Strong knowledge of biocompatibility testing protocols, including in vitro and in vivo testing methods.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to biocompatibility testing, including ISO 10993.

Meaning: Work for a start-up that has the potential to improve the daily lives of millions of Canadians who are suffering from arthritis & joint pain.

Benefits: ClearDynamic offers an Incentive Stock Options Plan (ISOP), as well as professional development opportunities for their employees.
