Job Description

Needed: Volunteers

Projects: Heart Lake Run

Locations: CAA Centre - Sports and Entertainment Complex, 7575 Kennedy Rd South, Brampton, ON L6W4T2

Dates Needed: Saturday June 24, 1:00 pm-9:00 pm

Sunday June 25, 7:00 am-3:00 pm


The Ontario Environment Network (OEN) represents a group of small and large environmental organizations across the province who are willing to carry out innovative collaborative efforts to work towards protecting and extending Ontario’s enviable triple bottom line of environmental, social, and economic vitality.



OEN will have their own booth at Heart Lake Run which takes place on June 24 and June 25. Heart Lake Run is a federal not-for-profit based in Brampton, Ontario. The 2023 Heart Lake Run 5K is an initiative in support of UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) focusing on Zero Hunger, Good Health & Wellbeing, Climate Action, Life below Water & Life on Land. For these two days OEN will need additional volunteers to help us man the booth. We ask that you provide your own transportation to and from the venue.



All volunteers will receive training on public speaking and communications. And you will get the opportunity to meet several other organizations that work towards the five sustainable development goals.


You will receive volunteer hours if needed.
