CNC Programmer

Lynden Door Canada of Yarrow, BC is currently hiring for an experienced CNC Machine Programmer/Operator. The role is responsible for operating a CNC (HOMAG) wood router machine and programming from door hardware drawings, and other woodworking equipment to manufacture doors and millwork.
This position is Monday to Friday, from 6:30am to 3:00pm. The hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Requirements For a Cnc Programmer
  • Physical ability to safety lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willing to take direction
  • Able to stand and / or be on your feet for an entire shift
  • Willingness to pursue additional training to enhance job skills
  • Ability to read and program machine from door hardware drawings is a requirement
  • Prior experience in programming is a requirement
  • Be comfortable and safely using the equipment
  • Mathematical aptitude and understanding of imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch
  • Carpentry/woodworking experience is a requirement
  • Willing to be cross trained in all areas of production
  • Woodwop software experience is an asset
  • Experience with a wood router CNC machine is a requirement
