Clubhouse Staff/Server (Pt)

Job Type: Part-time, Seasonal

Seasonal Period: present - October 15th 2023

Part-time hours: 8-24 per week

These are part-time seasonal job positions that will run, weather dependent, approximately from mid-April to mid-October.

The wage is $15.00 per hour. Approximately 16-32 hours per week. Hours of work: the golf course is open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset. Shift work is required as well as weekends and holidays.

Duties Including But Not Limited To

• Cleaning and charging of golf carts.
• Opening and closing cash duties.
• Cleaning and basketing golf balls.
• Answering phones.
• Limited beverage cart operation.
• Assisting in the coordination of golf tournaments and special events.
• General cleaning duties.
• Serving customers at Clubhouse Restaurant.
• Gardening and watering plants.
• Providing excellent customer service in the Clubhouse.
• Setting and charging for tee times and camp reservations.
• Sales

The hours of work will be dependent on operational requirements. Clubhouse shifts include: opening, closing and mid day shifts 7 days a week. Shift length will vary between 3-8 hours. Applicants must be able to accommodate any shift including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid Pro-Serve Certification
• Previous serving experience.
• Experience or interest in a golf course environment.
• Positions will require applicants to be at least 18 years of age with ability to obtain Pro-Serve certification.
• Ability to work as a cashier.
• Previous golf or customer service experience is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bartending knowledge is an asset.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic computer, tablet, and technology skills.
