Clinical Specialist - Ontario

The company has a strong pipeline of products and candidates designed to both expand on its heritage in global opioid use disorder treatment and address other substance use disorders as well as mental health co-morbidities such as schizophrenia.
Organizational Assignment: Based in Ontario the territory will be a part of Ontario and will include Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Brantford, Barrie, Orillia Penetang. The position holder will report to the National Sales Manager. The scope of the role is to primarily deliver the sales objectives for Indivior business at the territory level and other agreed measures.
Key objectives of the role are:
- The role is expected to actively contribute to the business plan by providing insights and learnings from the market to assist in identifying opportunities for growth.
- The role encompasses the building of awareness, and engagement in the treatment of opioid dependency (expanding treatment access) and driving business growth amongst the following targets: specialist clinicians, primary care prescribers, drug treatment teams, nursing staff, allied drug workers and community pharmacists.
- The role requires effective customer segmentation, targeting and prioritization combined with time management to ensure efficient territory management and delivery of KPIs.
- Sales focused position responsible for development of the business in Ontario by building influential relationships amongst all key stakeholders in the opioid dependence treatment field and driving appropriate usage and adoption of Indivior products using the company provided promotional tools. This role requires approximately 60% travel.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Capacity to organize and lead clinical educational meetings
- Preferably educated to degree level in a science based subject Sales experience in the field of drug addiction/psychiatry/ public health related field or at least sales or health related experience in a similar specialist niche pharmaceutical market segment (clinic, hospital, specialist target audiences).
- Proven ability to understand and operate in a technically complex therapeutic area.
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills, with a track record of building long standing influential customer relationships
