Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the licensed physician, Clinical Assistant will perform the following tasks:

- Appropriately adapt their scope of practice within the specific clinical setting of the supervising physician

- Perform a focused physical examination that is relevant and accurate

- Fully document all aspects of patient care and assist with the completion of all required documentation

- Record patient history, results of examination and propose treatment plan including prescriptions and medical orders

- Perform Medical procedures under the supervision of Licensed physician

- Seek appropriate consultation from the supervising physician and other health professionals

- Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies

- Implement effective management plans that include preventive and therapeutic interventions

- Maintain patient files, records, and other information

- Accurately convey relevant information and explanations to patients, families and other health care professionals

- Meet standards of professional ethical conduct.

- Provide additional services under the direction and supervision of a Physician, within the clinical competence of clinical assistant.

Qualifications

INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL GRADUATE with an experience in independent practice
