Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position in our Vancouver location:

- Develop strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations
- Initiate new revenue for the firm through the acquisition of new clients or the expansion of revenues from existing clients
- Handle sales and/or relationship management activities with clients and prospects in order to originate new client relationships and/or expand and retain existing relationships.
- Achieve yearly sales targets
- Partner with various account management teams to provide superior client service
- Attend and participate in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Marsh.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Level 2 BC Broker License
- Excellent communication in English
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization including the ‘C’ Suite.
- Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlines.
- 3 years of work experience within commercial insurance
- Strong business acumen including a well-rounded knowledge of general business function, finance and issues
- Computer literate with proficiency in email, spreadsheet, wording processing and presentation software
- Strong customer service skills
