Your skills

• Experience in a context of accelerated growth (an asset)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a team supervision role, ideally acquired in an environment respectful of diversity
• Familiarized with the use of an ERP system, and good understanding of business processes
• Knowledge of the transport industry (an asset)
• Knowledge of LEAN management principles
• Knowledge of good workplace prevention practices, and compliance related to occupational health and safety, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Fluency in oral and written French and English
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics and purchasing function, in a manufacturing context
• Good knowledge of the MS Office suite
• University degree in Operations and Logistics Management (GOL) or other relevant education

Your challenge

The Chief, Sourcing reports to the Senior Director, Sourcing, Maintenance, and ESG< /em>, and is responsible for all activities of the purchasing department, as well as the logistics department. He oversees all operations in the company's supply chain, and ensures that production objectives are met on time, and at the best cost. He also ensures the application of procedures and policies, while promoting teamwork, and effective communications between his team and other departments.
In this role, he/she provides positive leadership , and in collaboration with the team, participates in the management of operations with a view to continuous improvement, and contributes to the organization's efforts to maintain the commitment to the highest standards in terms of customer experience and employee experience, in accordance with the company's mission and its values.
He/she uses best practices as well as the management tools that the company makes available to him/her to measure the performance of his/her team on an ongoing basis. In collaboration with his immediate supervisor and the human resources department, he participates in the hiring, training, development and performance evaluation of the people under his supervision and ensures that he has at all times a motivated and competent team.
