Certified Recovery Mentor Jobs

The Certified Recovery Mentor is responsible for providing mentoring and support to men and women with substance use disorders. The Recover Mentor is responsible for providing mentoring support to men and women in recovery who are identified to benefit from a Peer Certified Recovery Mentor services. Provides vision driven hope, encouragement, and self-advocacy to support clients in their recovery and assist them in connecting to the community, resources, and natural supports. A Certified Recovery Mentor will share their life experience in personal recovery and use of effective coping skills in problem solving for clients to succeed in their independent living. The Certified Recovery Mentor will work in close partnership with other community partners such as hospitals, physician offices and jails. Certified Recovery Mentos acts as a role model and documents the progress for each of their clients.

Minimum Of Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent

Licensure/Certification: Current class C Oregon Driver's License required. GED/ High School Diploma required. Certified Recovery Mentor or obtain within 90 days of hire. A Certified Recovery Mentor must meet the following qualifications: "Certified Recovery Mentor" means a person providing peer delivered services to an individual or family member with similar life experience and complete necessary training to keep certification active. Must be able to pass pre-employment background check as required by ORS. Pass and maintain CPR certification within six months of hire. In addition to a criminal background check, the employee shall be checked on a regular basis against the OIG and GSA exclusion lists, as well as other federal and state agency lists. If it is discovered that the employee is excluded or sanctioned, it will be cause for immediate termination of employment.

Experience: A CRM must complete an OHA approved addiction training program (peer delivered services) and be a self-identified person in recovery from a substance use disorder, who meets the recovery requirements for recovering staff in alcohol and other drug treatment programs (2 years of recovery experience). Maintain a self-care routine.

Job knowledge: Understand and apply the skills of knowledge and principles of treatment for substance use disorders, treatment, recovery models, and strategies. Application of knowledge to practice, appreciation of diversity, ethics, and maintain continuing education requirements. Exhibits the ability to learn and apply new skills, keeps supervisor appraised as to current situations, uses resources effectively, and maintains professional boundaries. Demonstrates ability to adapt to situations appropriately. Possess problem solving and solution focused skills to assist in coordination, monitoring, advocation, and linking mental health clients to resources and gaining independence in the community. Knowledge of regulations and laws governing mental health, behavioral, and addiction services about ethics, privacy, and confidentiality. Knowledge of HIPAA. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Contents Handling/Cleaning Technician

As a Contents Handling/Cleaning Technician, you ensure that the contents and belongings of our clients are safely removed and packed so that the necessary rebuild and repair work can be done. While packing and moving boxes as well as loading furniture, you are sure to take great care. You list and document restorable and non-restorable contents both in the warehouse and on customer sites. At the completion of the construction project, you are responsible for moving customer property to their previous condition in a timely manner.

You conduct general everyday cleaning in addition to pre-construction and post-construction cleaning. Both at the warehouse and on customer sites, you clean household contents. You enjoy working with your hands as you participate in your cleaning, packing, and moving responsibilities. Plus, you enjoy interacting with our customers and providing them with excellent customer service. In this Contents Technician / General Labourer position, you play an essential role in giving our customers a great experience with First Onsite!

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Capability to lift, carry, and move heavy items
• Work activities may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
• Clean criminal record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willing to work on-call for after-hours emergency work
