About us: Hell's Basement Brewery is a craft brewery located in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. Our taproom is a place for locals and visitors (and dogs) alike to come together and enjoy great beer and conversation in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

About the job: We are looking for a casual taproom server to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, taking orders, serving beverages, and handling payments. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy taproom, restocking supplies, and assisting with special events and promotions as needed.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for craft beer. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are also essential.

Responsibilities:

• Restock supplies as needed, including glassware, beer, and snack items
• Assist with special events and promotions as needed
• Greet guests and provide information about our beers
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain a clean and tidy taproom, including tables, chairs, and bar area
• Take and serve drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash and credit card transactions and maintain accurate records of sales

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting preferred
• Saturday availability and occasional Thursday's, Friday's, and Sunday's. Shifts are 12:30-7:30
• Ability to work solo and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of craft beer and brewing process is an asset
• Must be of legal drinking age and have a valid ProServe
