Job Description
  • We are recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist our male client with a spinal cord injury in all activities of daily living. Our client is an active person with an interest in local, national and world affairs. He also enjoys conversation, games and music. #UN2023**Location:** Victoria (near Rithet's Bog Park)*Shifts and Hours:** Saturday & Sunday - 7:30AM to 3:30PM*Compensation:** $27 per hour*Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):** Assist with all ADL's including showering, dressing and grooming* Colostomy checks/changes couple times a week, Colostomy flange change, Catheter checks, and Peri Care* Assist client with transfers using ceiling lift* Meal prep and cooking* Medication administration* Range of Motion* Assistance with Bi-PAP machine* Support on errands/outings and accompanying to gym on Saturdays*Required Qualifications:** Class 5 driver's license is required and must be comfortable driving the client* Honest, diligent and hardworking* Has a willingness to learn* Non smoker* Physically fit* Fully vaccinated_*Individuals with disabilities can be more susceptible to the severe symptoms of COVID-19.
