We are currently recruiting for multiple Personal Support Worker(s) to assist our female client with Cellulitis in all activities of daily living. She is a kind, gentle woman and has a PhD and works part time at Vancouver Island University. #UN2023.*Location:** Nanaimo (Near Barsby Park)*Shifts & Hours of Work:** Monday, Wednesday, & Friday: 8:30am to 10:30am* Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30am to 9:30am* Saturday: 9:00am to 11:00am* Sunday: 9:00am to 1:00pm* Monday to Sunday (7 Days): 9:30pm to 11:30pm*Compensation:** $25.00 per hour*Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):** Daily personal care such as bathing, dressing, washroom care, grooming* Medication administration* Meal preparation* Laundry and housekeeping: Vacuum, Bathroom cleaning, Fridge clean out, Linen change, tidying, and throwing out the trash* Assistance in getting ready for work, with velcro compression wraps* Support going out on errands* Meticulous skin care routine due to cellulitis*Required Qualifications:** Caregiving experience is preferred* Fully Vaccinated* Driver’s License (Class 5) is an asset* Willingness to be trained* Experience working with individuals with sores, cellulitis, & skin integrity preferred*Individuals with disabilities can be more susceptible to the severe symptoms of COVID-19.
