Job Description
  • We are currently looking for a few Personal Support Workers to provide our male client with complex care in all activities of daily living. #UN2023**If you have a good sense of humor and are patient and kind, you sound like a good match to our client. He enjoys listening to music (country or 60s Jukebox) and watching old movies. He enjoys being active in the community, attending events, walks and spending time in the parks.**Location:** Penticton*Shifts and Hours:** Monday to Sunday: 8:30am to 8:30pm* Monday to Sunday: 8:30pm to 8:30am*Compensation** $28.00 to $30.00 depending on experience*Responsibilities (but not limited to):** All aspects of personal care: washroom care, showering, dressing, nebulizer/cough assist, ventilator care, oral care, grooming* Meal prep, feeding and medication administration.* Transfers using a ceiling lift.* Wound care (changing of dressing and reporting)* Range of Motion exercises* Occasional repositioning and some nighttime interventions* Cleaning equipment* Housekeeping duties* Reporting to various doctors, agencies and therapists*Qualifications:** Caregiving experience is required.* Drivers License required.* Experience with ventilator, nebulizer, and cough assist machine* Fully Vaccinated*Individuals with disabilities can be more susceptible to the severe symptoms of COVID-19.
