Job Description
  • We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker for a highly intelligent male client on the autism spectrum to assist with daily activities. #UN2023**He enjoys video games, Dungeons & Dragons as well as other fantasy based games and needs some encouragement and someone to go out with to explore his community around him.**Location:** Delta (near Winskill Park)*Shifts & Hours of Work:** Thursday and Friday: 9am to 5pm*Compensation:** $24 per hour*Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):** prompts and encouragement to do things such as shower or complete other small daily tasks* goal planning for life skills* assistance with transitions* encouragement to get out in community and explore*Required Qualifications:** Experience with individuals on the Autism spectrum* Must be fully vaccinated* Driver’s License is required* Must be comfortable working in an environment with large dogs* Strong communication and organization skills_*Individuals with disabilities can be more susceptible to the severe symptoms of COVID-19.
