Job Description
Position Summary...Walmart Fulfillment Service is a new business launched as a part of Walmart Canada’s fast-paced, tech enabled e-commerce strategy. Under WFS we offer sellers a multitude of services that help them rapidly scale their business with ease and efficiency of Walmart’s technology and supply chain infrastructure.
As a member of the New Initiatives WFS team, you will be providing insight and analysis to bring to life new initiatives under the WFS umbrella as we work towards our mission to be the most “seller friendly” marketplace. WFS aims to be a transparent, trustworthy platform for seller partners to grow and scale their business with Walmart
What You'll Do...
  • Work closely with stakeholders across supply chain, finance, e-commerce and marketplace to create business case (including P&L and scenarios) for new areas of WFS ecosystem.
  • Utilize secondary research data to analyze and build recommendations on go-to-market, launch and growth strategies.
  • This role would be focusing on new business initiatives for WFS which can grow to over 50% additional GMV for the multi-million dollar growth plan.
  • Creating and tracking milestone plan for implementation of new initiatives as per internal and external resources.
  • Develop strong acumen on competitive benchmarking to create roadmap for future initiatives pipeline.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of working with large data sets, conducting financial analysis and competitive benchmarking
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Consulting, Supply Chain, Retail.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Accounting etc.
  • Proven ability to act as an owner to drive organizations / teams for delivery against roadmap.
