What Would You Do?

Palliser Furniture Ltd. is currently seeking an

An IT professional who can discover business requirements and translate them to an appropriate technical solution and or application platform. They will configure, design and develop these tools in a way that meets the needs of the business group.

This role would require you to be onsite for the first 3-6 months with the potential for hybrid remote work thereafter. Additionally, participation in an after hours on call schedule is required.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position would include but not limited to:

• Designing integrations with other business applications and back end systems
• Monitoring and evaluating business group expectations as they apply to the application platform
• Developing user stories
• Defining the vision for the solution
• Documenting and training on business applications
• Creating a road map based on this vision
• Collaborating with business groups to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
• Providing process and updates to various groups
• Managing and prioritizing tasks and milestones

What Do You Bring?

• Proficiency with SQL language and database management
• Proven analytical abilities
• Ability to translate business needs into application solutions
• Skills in Zoho products like Desk, Forms, CRM and Project.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Great communication and Decision- Making skills.
• 2+ years of experience in an analytics and systems development capacity
• Degree in Business Analysis, Project Management or Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Knowledge with Micorsoft Apps including Power BI, Sharepoint, Excel and other Power Apps
• Application development experience considered an asset.
• Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
