Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing, and computer systems development and operations.
• Recruit and supervise computer analysts, engineers, technicians, and other personnel, and oversee their professional development and training as required.
• Plan, organize, and direct the operations of information systems and electronic data processing departments and companies.
• Negotiate with business owners to secure better pricing for software and technology solutions.
• Control the budget and expenditures of the department, company, or project to ensure efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the design team to understand software requirements and assess the right software to implement within the company.
• Assemble and manage teams of information systems personnel to design, develop, implement, operate, and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks, and information systems.

Qualifications:

• Excellent understanding of computer software, networks, and telecommunications systems.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills to interact with business owners and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated expertise in budget management and resource allocation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to assemble and lead high-performing teams.
• Proven experience in managing information systems and electronic data processing departments or similar roles.
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
