Our Team is seeking a skilled and experienced Bilingual Automation Tester to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. As a Bilingual Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through effective automated testing processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with talented professionals in the software development industry.
Responsibilities:
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in test automation and contribute to the improvement of the overall testing process.
- Continuously enhance and maintain the test automation framework and infrastructure.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, including identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, utilizing issue tracking systems, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and design effective test cases.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability and performance of software applications after changes or updates.
- Develop and execute comprehensive automated test scripts and test plans for software applications, ensuring high test coverage and reliability.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and French languages, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Automation Tester, with a focus on automated testing of software applications.
- Solid knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, etc.) and ability to write code for test automation purposes.
- Experience in working with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong proficiency in developing and executing automated test scripts using industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
