Assistant Designer - Ladieswear

Responsibilities:

• Stay updated on trends and explore new creative ideas through various medias.
• Approval of all fabric quality, trims, lab dips, strike offs and labels for production with design and production teams.
• Prepare presentation, samples, catalogs, and packages for sales team with the designer.
• Sourcing trims
• Collaborate with the designers to send approvals and comments overseas on a daily basis.
• Follow-up on development samples to make sure that samples are received in timely manner.
• Use Adobe Photoshop to create artworks & patterns.
• Assist and maintain cads, fabric cards and line sheets regularly.
• Use Adobe Illustrator to create flat sketches and technical packages with detailed information.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or Graphic Design.
• Time management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong Organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge in Excel, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• 1-3 years of experience with Ladieswear.
