Job Description
In Brampton, under the responsibility of the Applied Samples Assistant Group Leader, the position holder produces the required samples.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Produces the applied samples for all product lines.
  • Elaborates / prepares seminars (demo boards making and mounting)
  • Any other related tasks
  • Autonomy and adaptation capacity
  • Puts in writing the duration of certain steps in samples production when requested by his/her superior
  • Respects the H&S standards.
  • Makes sure that the samples produced comply with quality standards.
  • Technical and functional aptitudes
  • May have to travel in Canada
  • Compiles the raw materials' and samples' inventory and communicates this data to his/her superior.
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Very good accuracy and dexterity, coordination, creativity, initiative, detailed oriented, versatility
  • May have to use various tools such as water-saw, saw-bench, dril, etc.)
  • Maintains his work area clean
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds many times a day / stand up for long periods of time
  • High school degree and 1 to 3 year experience in a similar sector
  • Provides reports as required by his/her superior
  • Takes part in the training of new employees in the department.
  • Sense of planning and organization
  • Complex tasks execution
  • Produces the new samples once approved by the Product Managers and the Technical Services Manager.
