As an Admissions Representative, you will play a key role in bringing new students into our career programs- which range from IT, Business, Healthcare, Legal studies, Design, and Skilled Trades-and providing them with the opportunity to achieve their goals. You will serve as a recruiter, an advisor, and help guide in the journeys of our adult learners to make a difference in the lives of many!


Job Responsibilities: Admissions Administration Primary Duties:


  • Answer Incoming calls and make outbound calls
  • Comply with governmental regulations and standards of accreditation as they relate to enrolling students
  • Generate school/program referrals
  • Maintain a conversion rate on all types of inquiries from lead to interview, interview to enrollment, and enrollment to start as determined by Admissions Management and company directives
  • Accountable for enrollment growth through following up on leads and delivering information to prospective students in a timely manner
  • Respond to email inquiries in a timely manner
  • Participate in campus outreach projects
  • Welcome prospective students by interviewing applicants, arranging and conducting campus tours, processing paperwork, and conducting follow-up activities such as email, phone calls, letter writing
  • Identify potential problems which may interfere with or be a barrier to a student’s successful entrance into or completion of a program and be able to troubleshoot and recommend suitable career path options.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual starts, referrals, targets, and objectives, as per expectations
  • Maintain quality controls to ensure that our Member's College policies and procedures are adhered to in relation to enrollment and registration
  • Receive incoming inquiry calls from all potential students interested in knowing or receiving information about programs, including entrance requirements, curricula, and college standards
  • Perform in accordance with our Member's College sales approach and standards


Administration Primary Duties:


  • Support all sales and marketing activities, including information sessions, telemarketing, Education Fairs, and open house.
  • Ensure that the student files are complete prior to starting and follow-up
  • Ensure information is accurately and efficiently entered into the admission sales management system on a regular basis
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with students to ensure customer satisfaction


Position Requirements and Experience:


  • Result and goal-oriented
  • Passion for exceeding targets in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in a call center or commissioned environment is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2 or more years of sales/recruiting or customer service experience
  • Proficient computer skills specifically Microsoft Office Admissions (Sales) Representative
  • Working a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment
  • University Degree or College diploma and/or a combination of relevant experience
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
