Job Description

Our client from the construction industry is looking for an Administrator/Bookkeeper to be a supportive force who empowers our senior leadership. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention for details. This person should have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative and accounting duties.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and office support, such as typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, faxing, and maintenance of filing system and contacts database
  • Manage senior executives’ travel logistics and activities, including accommodations, transportation, and meals
  • Bookkeeping
  • Manage professional and personal scheduling for CEO, including agendas, mail, email, phone calls, client management, and other company logistics
  • Organize and enter invoice information, spending reports, and taxes for employer
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to senior executives
  • Record and keep track of all money that flows in and out of a company
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative role reporting directly to upper management
  • Quickbooks experience is a must
  • Construction industry experience is an asset
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle various requests from different employees at the same time.
  • Ability to wear multiple hats
