Job Summary

The Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering team, developing strategies and solutions for improving engineering processes, and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to acceptable quality standards. The Engineering Manager will work collaboratively with other departments, including product development, sales, and operations, to ensure that engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.

Develop and manage engineering team responsible for developing, maintaining and deploying Fintech products and services.

Lead the technical execution of projects and initiatives related to Fintech products.

Oversee and ensure the development of high-quality products and services that meet customer needs and meet business objectives.

Manage resources, budgets and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members.

Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure product and feature requirements are met.

Monitor the performance of Fintech products and services to ensure they meet customer requirements.

Analyze existing products and processes to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies for optimizing performance.

Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the Fintech industry.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise with Fintech products and services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

7+ years of experience managing software engineering teams

Strong understanding of software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud

Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and other modern software engineering practices

Understanding of the financial services industry and relevant regulations

Ability to drive technical initiatives and ensure successful delivery

Experience with agile project management tools and techniques
