Job Description

Lambert Nemec Group, Winnipeg's leader in Accounting & Finance recruitment, has partnered with our client, a well-established company in the real estate industry with operations in Manitoba, to recruit an Accounting Clerk. Reporting to the Controller, the successful Accounting Clerk will be an active member of the team.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable and cash disbursement

• Accounts receivable and cash management

• Monthly banks and credit card reconciliations

• Filling of government taxes (PST, GST)

• Assist the controller in month end closings and financial statement preparation

• Perform various administrative duties as required


Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting

• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and general ledger reconciliations highly preferred

• Strong analytical aptitude

• Experience with computerized accounting programs e.g. AccPac, Dynamics-Great Plains, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage and other ERP Systems
